Louise Chappell ~ Owner

Louise has been in the travel industry for 40 years. After graduating from college, majoring in Travel & Tourism, she was hired by a commuter airline in Manchester, NH. Having worked her way up to Assistant Manager in both the reservations center and the ticket counter, she then moved on to work for Braniff Airlines in Boston. Soon she was promoted to Station Trainer, flying across the country training agents on ticketing, check-in and company procedures. Along the way she even got to guide in 727's on the tarmac, chock their wheels, drive the jetway to the door of the plane, greet a few people, check them in, help them with their baggage and clean the plane!
She began working as a Travel Agent in 1988.

Since then, Louise has mastered her CTA Certification and has also completed many Destination Specialist courses as well as Cruise Line accreditation.
She has been the President for the Mane Chapter of the American Society of Travel Advisors for the last 5 years, and loves bringing the best of Maine's travel agents together 6 times a year for education and industry associations.
She has owned and operated Worldwide Travel since 199 and feels the same enthusiasm for helping people as she did 40 years ago!
